Introduction Part 2

So…Where do I begin? I’m an artist from Queensland, Australia (To be honest, location isn’t all that important to my practice; we are just a drop of consciousness in the sea of the universe right?). Let me rephrase that by saying; I’m an artist from Planet Earth, location Universe.

This story begins when, a young, freshly incarnated soul in the universe, discovered a joy for drawing. Art was always around in my childhood, as I wasn’t the only ‘artist’ in the family. Fast forward to adulthood, a few years of exploration in Art School and here we are.

In my ‘about’ section, I use words to describe my art as… ’metaphysical’ (isn’t that what all art is about Beth?), ‘spiritual’, and ‘visionary’ (bold choice of words there Beth?); ‘to inspire and awaken?’ (really?). Yes; isn’t that what art is for? The art that inspires me the most, is the art that makes me think and question, beyond my present perception of reality.
